- You manufacture precision components using turning processes (CNC and/or conventional lathes)
- You set up, programme and operate turning and turning-milling centres
- You will read technical drawings and production documents and implement them reliably
- You will expertly select suitable tools, clamping devices and cutting parameters
- You will carry out quality control on the manufactured components using measuring equipment (calipers, micrometres, and, where applicable, 3D co-ordinate measuring machine)
- You optimise production processes in terms of time, quality and cost
- You carry out maintenance and servicing work on the machines
- You carefully document production and inspection results
Requirements
- You have completed an apprenticeship as a machinist (m/f/d), a turner (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
- you have several years’ professional experience in turning, ideally including CNC knowledge (e.g. Siemens, Fanuc, Heidenhain)
- you are confident in working with technical drawings and tolerance specifications
- you have experience in using measuring and testing equipment
- manual dexterity is part of your skill set
- you have a good command of German
- You hold a valid work permit
- You are willing to work shifts
