Cutting machine operator (m/f/d)

• 2-shift pattern: 6.30 am–2 pm and 2 pm–10 pm; shortened hours on Fridays: 2 pm–7 pm

• You will machine individual parts and small batches weighing up to 20 tonnes on 5-axis machining centres with Heidenhain controls
• You will programme, set up and operate CNC milling machines independently
• You will complete the orders on hand in accordance with drawing specifications and work plans
• You set up clamping devices, tools and workpieces for the respective job and change them as required
• You monitor the manufacturing process, identify deviations at an early stage and adjust machine parameters or tool data
• You inspect the finished workpieces using suitable measuring equipment, thereby ensuring the required quality
• You transport heavy workpieces and components safely using the overhead crane

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a

industrial mechanic (m/f/d), metalworker (m/f/d), machining mechanic (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification

• You have experience in programming, setting up and operating CNC milling machines
• You are familiar with 5-axis machining centres and, ideally, with Heidenhain controls
• You are also able to read technical drawings and work to them
• You have a basic command of written and spoken German
• You are willing to work a two-shift system
• Technical understanding and manual dexterity come naturally to you
• The ability to work as part of a team, commitment, reliability and a proactive and confident approach to your work are your strong points
• A valid work permit for Germany rounds off your profile
