• In this role, you will manufacture forming tools as well as high-quality parts and components for customers in the automotive and mechanical engineering industries
• You will be responsible for machining forming tools for in-house hot forming in accordance with specifications
• You will be responsible for setting up and operating modern CNC machines, including high-speed cutting (HSC) and 5-axis milling machines
• You will be responsible for machining high-alloy steel materials and complex geometries
• You will also create, optimise and adapt CNC programmes for Heidenhain control systems
• You will read technical drawings and production documentation and implement them in the production process
• You will select tools, clamping devices and cutting parameters appropriate to the component and monitor wear
• You will carry out dimensional checks on the components you have manufactured independently using suitable measuring equipment

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a machining technician (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d) or toolmaker (m/f/d)
• Ideally, you will have several years’ professional experience in machining high-alloy steel materials and complex geometries
• Experience in HSC and 5-axis milling technology would be an advantage
• You have a basic command of spoken German (minimum level)
• You are also familiar with Heidenhain control systems
• Furthermore, you are willing to work early and late shifts
• You are characterised by a strong focus on quality
• You work independently and are self-motivated
• You are a team player, enabling you to coordinate closely with the specialists in toolmaking
• A valid work permit for Germany rounds off your profile
