Requirements:

• Completed apprenticeship as a machining technician (m/f/d) specialising in milling technology, or similar technical training
• Basic knowledge of quality assurance
• Basic knowledge of standard Office applications
• Willingness to work shifts
• Desirable: at least 1 year’s practical professional experience in the machining of prototypes / single parts / small-batch parts using modern 3-axis machining centres with Heidenhain controls (TNC 426 to TNC 640)

Duties:

• 3-axis CNC machining
• Manufacture of complex parts from aluminium, stainless steel (chromium-nickel alloys) and plastics
• Creation of CNC programmes on Heidenhain control systems
• Documentation of programmes, tools and clamping set-ups
• Ran-in of components on CNC milling machines in accordance with existing programme documentation
• Carrying out scheduled maintenance on the machines – Independent self-inspection by the operator of all manufactured components
