Cutting machine operator (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• you will programme and operate cycle-controlled lathes and milling machines
• you will read and interpret technical drawings independently
• You create suitable machining programmes using Siemens control software
• You turn the relevant production parts in accordance with the specifications in the production documentation
• You set up the machines for the respective machining steps and reconfigure them
• During production, you monitor and optimise the ongoing machining processes
• You document your work steps in the production order and in the SAP feedback portal

What we’re looking for

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a machining technician (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d) or precision mechanic (m/f/d)
• you have professional experience in operating and programming cycle-controlled lathes and milling machines
• proficiency in using Siemens control software to create machining programmes is required
• You can read and interpret technical drawings with confidence
• You have experience using SAP to document work steps and provide feedback
• A basic knowledge of German and a valid work permit are an advantage
• You are happy to work shifts in a two-shift system
• You are known for your careful and precise work when manufacturing and self-inspecting components
