• You will manufacture precision components for the mechanical engineering sector – such as hydraulic components, piston rods, shafts or spindles – on CNC milling and CNC turning machines
• On machining centres, including those with horizontal machining capabilities, you set up and operate the machines
• You machine long, rotationally symmetrical components on CNC lathes and set up clamping devices, tailstocks, centres and powered tools for this purpose
• You will interpret technical drawings, work plans and inspection documents and implement them in production
• You prepare pre-set tools and carry out tool corrections
• You select suitable clamping techniques and clamp the workpieces in a process-reliable manner
• You check dimensions, fits, form and position tolerances, surface specifications and threads using callipers, micrometres, internal gauges and limit gauges, and document the results
• You keep your workstation clean and tidy in accordance with 5S standards and contribute ideas for the continuous improvement of processes

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a machining technician (m/f/d) specialising in milling or turning, as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d) with CNC experience, or as a toolmaker (m/f/d)
• You have experience in machining precision components for mechanical engineering, such as hydraulic components, piston rods, shafts or spindles
• You can confidently interpret technical drawings, work plans and inspection documents, including those relating to tolerances as well as form and position tolerances
• You are familiar with fits, surface finish specifications, thread types and thread inspection, as well as run-out and concentricity requirements
• You have experience with tool presetting, tool corrections and clamping techniques; ideally, you also have experience in setting up tailstocks, centres and powered tools. You possess problem-solving skills
• You attach importance to maintaining order and cleanliness in the workplace in accordance with 5S standards, as well as a commitment to the continuous improvement of processes
• Your profile includes spoken German and a valid work permit
• You hold a Class B driving licence and own a car
