• You will analyse technical drawings, CAD data and work plans and check the dimensions
• You will independently programme CNC machine tools such as milling, turning, grinding and, where applicable, EDM machines, or adapt existing programmes using CAM software
• You will machine hard materials such as metal and steel using CNC milling, turning and grinding techniques, achieving a high degree of dimensional accuracy in the micrometre range
• You will select, check and set up the necessary tools, such as milling cutters, drills and turning tools, as well as clamping devices
• You will set up, load and run-in both CNC and conventional machines
• You continuously monitor the machining process and intervene in the event of deviations
• Using precise measuring equipment, you check the finished workpieces accurately for dimensional accuracy, form and position tolerances, and surface finish
• You will assist with the manufacture, assembly, commissioning and repair of punching and forming tools
• You will carry out regular maintenance and minor repair work on machines and tools independently
• You create and optimise CNC programmes on Heidenhain control systems

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a machinist (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d) or toolmaker (m/f/d)
• You have experience in reading and implementing technical drawings, CAD data and work plans
• You have knowledge of programming CNC machine tools, ideally with Heidenhain controls and CAM software
• Confident use of precision measuring equipment to check dimensional accuracy, form and positional tolerances, as well as surface finish, is required
• You have experience in setting up, configuring and operating both CNC and conventional machines
• You are also willing to work shifts
• A basic knowledge of spoken German (minimum level) and a valid work permit are part of your profile
• You are characterised by manual dexterity and a strong technical understanding
• Working carefully and precisely to the micrometre is second nature to you
• Reliability and the ability to work independently round off your profile
