Cutting machine operator (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• You’ll manufacture small, medium and large batches of products made from steel and composite materials
• You will operate and set up CNC lathes and milling machines independently
• You will adapt and optimise CNC programmes, with a focus on Fanuc controls
• You will set up and operate production machinery, equipment and workstations independently, or assist with these tasks
• You will load machines with raw materials and remove the finished parts
• You document production data in accordance with specifications
• You carry out in-process inspections in accordance with the applicable quality work instructions and quality inspection plans, and document these
• You ensure compliance with the specified quality criteria by means of visual and dimensional inspections
• You read and work to technical drawings
• You use measuring equipment confidently to inspect finished parts

What we are looking for

• a completed apprenticeship, e.g. as a machinist (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d) or toolmaker (m/f/d); alternatively, you may already have several years’ professional experience in production
• You have professional experience in CNC manufacturing and, ideally, a good knowledge of Fanuc control systems
• You are naturally confident in working with technical drawings and measuring equipment
• your manual dexterity and basic technical understanding are assets
• furthermore, working whilst standing is no problem for you
• Your profile includes written and spoken German – sufficient for communication and following work instructions – as well as a valid work permit
• You are willing to work shifts and are flexible and willing to work overtime
• You are characterised by your resilience, physical fitness and a meticulous, reliable and responsible approach to work
