• You will set up CNC machines for milling and turning, programme them and operate them during production, including for grinding where required
• You will read technical drawings, work plans and production documents and implement them on the production floor
• You will create and optimise CNC programmes, for example on control systems from Siemens, Heidenhain or Fanuc, using CAM support where appropriate
• You will select the appropriate tools, clamping devices and cutting parameters and change them as required
• You will manufacture components to specification, ensuring dimensional accuracy and surface quality
• You check the quality of your parts using measuring tools such as callipers, micrometres and gauges, and, where necessary, on a measuring machine, and document the results
• You identify and rectify faults on the machines
• You carry out basic maintenance and upkeep on the machines and keep your workstation clean and safe

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a machinist (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d) or precision mechanic (m/f/d)
• You have several years’ professional experience working on CNC lathes and/or milling machines
• You have a basic knowledge of spoken German (minimum level)
• A valid work permit is required
• You are willing to work shifts and take on flexible assignments
• You are characterised by a meticulous, independent and quality-conscious approach to your work
