• You will operate a CNC lathe with a Siemens or Heidenhain control system and set it up for the respective job
• Using technical drawings and production documents, you will programme and optimise machining sequences on the control system
• You carry out conventional turning operations independently and with precision
• You clamp workpieces correctly and select the appropriate tools and cutting parameters
• You monitor the ongoing production process and take corrective action in the event of deviations
• Using measuring instruments such as callipers, micrometres or gauges, you check the dimensional accuracy and quality of the manufactured parts
• You change tools, maintain them and replace wear parts in good time
• You keep your machine and workstation clean and carry out regular care and maintenance work
• Where necessary, you use a crane to transport workpieces and raw materials to the machine
• You document production and inspection data in a traceable manner in accordance with company guidelines

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a machining technician (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d) or toolmaker (m/f/d)
• You have experience in operating CNC lathes with Siemens or Heidenhain controls
• You are proficient in conventional turning operations and work with confidence and precision
• You can read technical drawings and production documents with confidence and implement them correctly
• You are familiar with using measuring instruments such as callipers, micrometres and gauges
• Ideally, you hold a crane operator’s licence
• You work meticulously, reliably and with a focus on quality
• You are willing to work shifts in a two-shift system
• You have a basic knowledge of spoken German (minimum level)
• A valid work permit is required
