Cutting machine operator (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• You will set up and operate CNC or conventional machine tools during production
• You will create, test and adapt CNC control programmes on the computer
• You will clamp workpieces in place and carry out test runs before actual production begins
• You will manufacture precision components according to technical 2D and 3D drawings
• You will read and interpret technical drawings to ensure manufacturing specifications are correctly implemented
• You will inspect the finished workpieces for dimensional accuracy and surface quality, often to the micrometre
• You carry out regular quality checks and document the results
• You maintain and look after machinery and tools

What we’re looking for

• You have completed an apprenticeship as

a precision engineering mechanic (m/f/d),

industrial mechanic (m/f/d), machining mechanic (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification

• You have sound knowledge of CNC technology
• You are also able to read technical

2D and 3D drawings

and work from them

• A basic command of spoken German sets you apart
• You demonstrate a willingness to work shifts
• Technical understanding and manual dexterity come naturally to you
• Analytical thinking, the ability to work in a team, commitment, reliability and a proactive and confident approach to your work are your strengths
• A valid work permit for Germany rounds off your profile
