Cutting machine operator (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• You will set up modern CNC lathes and milling machines and programme them according to technical drawings
• You will then operate the machines and monitor the ongoing manufacturing process
• You will produce prototypes, individual parts and small batches according to technical drawings
• You will manufacture workpieces independently and then check them for dimensional accuracy
• You will inspect the finished parts using measuring tools such as callipers and micrometres
• You will select suitable tools and clamping devices and reconfigure the machines accordingly
• Where necessary, you will adjust production parameters such as speed and feed rate to suit the specific workpiece
• You carry out minor maintenance and servicing work on the machines independently
• You document the production and inspection results in accordance with company guidelines

What we’re looking for

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a machining technician (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d) or precision mechanic (m/f/d)
• You have experience in setting up and operating CNC lathes and milling machines
• You have a good understanding of reading technical drawings
• You are confident in using measuring and testing equipment to check dimensional accuracy
• You are characterised by your ability to work independently and with precision
• You possess technical understanding and manual dexterity
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality are second nature to you
• You have a basic command of spoken German and a valid work permit
