• You set up conventional and CNC-controlled machine tools in accordance with plans and adjust measuring devices, cutting parameters and tools
• You produce and inspect test parts; if there are any deviations, you correct the settings
• During the ongoing production process, you operate the machines, monitor and control them, and intervene where necessary
• You load workpieces, align them and keep an eye on the machine’s operation
• You check the dimensional accuracy and quality of the finished workpieces and document the measurement results
• In the event of faults, you analyse the causes, adjust tools and restore smooth operation
• You forward fault reports to the relevant departments and contribute to process reliability by suggesting improvements
• You carry out cleaning and maintenance work on the machines according to schedule
• You carry out minor repairs, such as replacing switches and push-buttons, independently
• You implement TPM measures in series production and monitor maintenance intervals
