• You will operate cycle-controlled centre-drive lathes in a professional manner and set them up safely
• You load NC programmes and optimise the machining parameters where necessary
• You carry out quality and dimensional checks whilst the production process is underway
• You plan your machining steps based on technical drawings and production documents
• You select suitable tools, clamping devices and cutting parameters, and change tools as required
• You check the finished workpieces using measuring instruments such as callipers, micrometres or gauges
• You identify deviations in workpieces or in the process at an early stage and correct them independently
• You clamp and transport workpieces, using the crane where necessary
• You maintain your machine regularly and keep your workplace clean and safe

• You have completed an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d),

tool mechanic (m/f/d), machining mechanic (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification

• You have experience in operating and setting up lathes
• You are familiar with running in NC programmes
• You can also read technical drawings and work to them
• You have a basic knowledge of German, both spoken and written
• You are willing to work shifts
• Technical understanding and manual dexterity come naturally to you
• The ability to work as part of a team, commitment, reliability and a proactive and confident approach to your work are your strengths
• A valid work permit for Germany rounds off your profile
