Cutting machine operator milling technology (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• You will machine individual parts and small batches weighing up to 20 tonnes on 5-axis machining centres with Heidenhain controls
• You will independently programme the CNC milling machine, set it up and operate it during production
• You will machine the respective orders in accordance with drawing specifications and work plans
• You will set up the workpieces and prepare the appropriate tools and clamping devices
• As part of the quality assurance process, you will check the machined workpieces for dimensional accuracy and precision
• You document the inspection results and report any deviations to the relevant departments
• Where necessary, you optimise milling programmes and adapt them to the relevant production requirements
• You will monitor the production process and intervene in the event of faults or deviations

What we are looking for

• You have completed an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic

(m/f/d),

precision engineering mechanic

 (m/f/d), machining mechanic (m/f/d) or a comparable
qualification

• You have experience of working with CNC milling machines and, ideally, with Heidenhain controls
• You can programme, set up and operate machines independently
• You can also read technical drawings and work to them
• You have a basic knowledge of written and spoken German
• You are willing to work shifts
• Technical understanding and manual dexterity come naturally to you
• Team spirit, commitment, reliability and a proactive and confident approach to work are your strengths
• A valid work permit for Germany rounds off your profile
