Job description

  • You will be responsible for the accurate recording of diesel expense claims and working hours, and will ensure that all processes are fully documented at all times
  • You will also be responsible for the careful maintenance of the internal freight forwarding programme and for ensuring high data quality within the system
  • You will also oversee the processing and accounting of all fuel data and liaise directly with the relevant departments in the event of discrepancies
  • Identifying the drivers responsible for regulatory offences, whilst complying with legal requirements, is also part of your daily duties
  • As part of your role, you will assist with the organised creation and careful filing of physical and digital records
  • Furthermore, you will actively support the administrative processes within the in-house insurance department with all arising queries and tasks
  • Finally, you will be responsible for communicating with Polish drivers and will take on key liaison tasks to ensure the smooth handling of all transport operations

Requirements

  • You have completed a vocational qualification as an Office Management Assistant (m/f/d), Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Clerk (m/f/d) or Industrial Clerk (m/f/d)
  • you also have some initial professional experience in the logistics or administrative sector and possess a strong understanding of freight forwarding processes
  • You are distinguished by your confident use of MS Office and, ideally, common freight forwarding programmes and data entry systems
  • You have native-level written and spoken German and, ideally, a good command of Polish for internal communication
  • Furthermore, you bring a high degree of reliability and a strong aptitude for numbers to ensure the error-free entry of all data
  • Finally, you are thoroughly team-oriented and always work in a structured and conscientious manner, even when faced with a heavy workload in day-to-day logistics
  • To fulfil this responsible role, in addition to your professional expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and be permanently resident in Germany
