• You will ensure the availability and stability of the database systems in production, and be responsible for monitoring them and troubleshooting any issues
• Using SAP ASE, you will work within the existing database landscape and support the regular maintenance of new quarterly databases
• You will use Grafana to monitor the database systems, ensuring system stability and performance
• Through performance tuning, you will analyse and optimise the databases and implement appropriate measures to improve system performance
• You will plan and oversee data migrations and ETL processes, including data modelling and the integration of various systems

• You have completed an apprenticeship as an IT specialist (m/f/d), for example specialising in system integration, or hold a degree in computer science
• You have practical experience in the administration of Linux systems, preferably Red Hat
• You have in-depth knowledge of the design, optimisation and implementation of database architectures with regard to stability, performance, redundancy and high availability, as well as of backup and recovery; Knowledge of SAP ASE is desirable
• initial experience with Kubernetes and Docker, as well as knowledge of web technologies and their integration into database systems, form part of your professional profile
• you have business-fluent German (minimum C1 level)
• To fulfil this role of responsibility, in addition to your technical expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and be permanently resident in Germany
