• You will be responsible for the independent development and design of complex vehicle components and mechanical assemblies using modern methods
• You will also be responsible for drawing up precise specifications and structured work packages for external service providers and partners
• You will also oversee the development of well-thought-out concepts, from detailed design right through to the professional production of complete sets of drawings
• Deriving drawings for complex welded assemblies and individual parts is also part of your day-to-day responsibilities in the project business
• As part of your role, you will support the initiation and technical supervision of assembly verification in the in-house test department
• Finally, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with specified time and cost schedules, as well as providing support for various vehicle projects

• You have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering, or a qualification as a Mechanical Engineering Technician
• you also have at least two years’ solid professional experience in the field of mechanical design and detailed design
• you stand out thanks to your confident knowledge of Siemens NX or comparable 3D CAD systems, as well as your experience with common PDM systems
• You have business-fluent German and a good command of English for international project work
• Furthermore, you demonstrate a high degree of independence, strong communication skills, a structured approach to work and excellent teamwork skills
• To fulfil this role of responsibility, in addition to your technical expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and have a permanent residence in Germany
