You will be responsible for the technical management of customer orders, including the design of components and assemblies in plant and mechanical engineering. You will independently manage projects from the initial concept through to series production. You will draw up drawings, parts lists and assembly instructions in accordance with the relevant technical requirements. In consultation with Purchasing and suppliers, you will specify the technical requirements for procured parts. You will work closely with related departments such as Development, Production and Sales. You will document and prepare project information and communicate this to the relevant departments. For specific requirements, you will develop customised solutions. When designing complex components, you will take into account standard steel and stainless steel sheet metal constructions. You will confidently utilise 3D CAD software (SolidWorks) and ERP systems to carry out your design tasks. You will incorporate manufacturing processes, welding technology and vessel construction into the design of your components. Last but not least, you will take on initial project management responsibilities as part of order processing

• You have a degree in a technical subject such as mechanical engineering, process engineering or a comparable discipline
• You are proficient in using 3D CAD software, in particular SolidWorks, as well as ERP systems
• You also have knowledge of manufacturing processes, welding technology and vessel construction
• You have experience in the design of complex components in the field of carbon steel and stainless steel sheet metal constructions
• Initial professional experience in exhaust air purification and filter technology is an advantage
• You have some experience in project management and execution
• You are a strong team player
• We require a very good command of German and a good command of written and spoken English
