• You will be responsible for providing design support and driving the targeted development of complex custom-built machinery solutions for the integration of test measurement points on gas turbines
• you will also be responsible for the application-oriented development of custom designs for the precise installation of sensors on state-of-the-art gas turbines and their components
• Furthermore, you will oversee the professional adaptation and modification of designs to ensure the seamless integration of specialised instrumentation during ongoing project operations
• Your responsibilities will also include ongoing coordination with production and external suppliers regarding optimal manufacturability
• As part of your role, you will actively support the creation and regular maintenance of an up-to-date 3D CAD model of the complex test rig peripherals
• Furthermore, you will support the precise positioning of the gas turbines in the test rig, whilst strictly taking into account the existing infrastructure
• Finally, you will be responsible for carrying out complex collision analyses, as well as the final coordination and demanding installation space checks directly on site

• You have successfully completed a degree in mechanical engineering with a specialisation in design, or hold a comparable qualification
• You also have at least five years’ solid professional experience in the demanding field of traditional mechanical and plant engineering
• Your confident proficiency in professional 3D design using the Siemens NX system sets you apart in your day-to-day work environment
• You have excellent written and spoken German at native speaker level, as well as fluent, practical English skills
• Furthermore, you bring a high degree of solution-oriented thinking as well as a structured and independent working style to the team
• Finally, you are a strong team player, versatile and impress with your strong communication skills when dealing with various stakeholders
• To fulfil this responsible role, in addition to your technical expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and have a permanent residence in Germany
