• You will be responsible for the independent design of innovative GRP components and assemblies, taking into account efficient production optimisation for modern shipbuilding
• You will also be responsible for the precise preparation of complete designand production documentation, such as three-dimensional models, detailed technical drawings and parts lists
• Furthermore, you will oversee technical coordination with internal stakeholders and external contacts to ensure the smooth implementation of all upcoming technical project requirements
• Structural production planning and the continuous monitoring of manufacturing processes, including the initiation of procurement processes as required, are also part of your responsibilities
• As part of your role, you will assist with the thorough inspection of manufactured components to ensure high quality standards are maintained in accordance with specified internal inspection guidelines
• Furthermore, you will support the entire team in the practical optimisation of manufacturing processes for complex fibre-reinforced composite components in shipbuilding and specialised shipbuilding
• Finally, you will be responsible for the professional documentation of all development stages, as well as for ensuring compliance with relevant safety and quality requirements during the manufacture of all components

• You have successfully completed further training to become a State-Certified Technician (m/f/d) in the field of mechanical engineering, building on an apprenticeship as a precision engineer (m/f/d) or technical draughtsman (m/f/d)
• You also have several years’ practical professional experience in design, as well as in-depth expertise in working with fibre-reinforced composites such as GRP or CFRP
• Your solid knowledge of common CAD systems such as SolidWorks, as well as standard MS Officeapplications
• You have a very good command of German at a business-proficient level, as well as a good command of English to ensure effective communication within the specialist field
• Furthermore, you demonstrate a high degree of teamwork, strong communication skills and a keen technical understanding of manufacturing processes and production methods
• Finally, you are a committed individual and always approach your tasks completely independently, in a structured manner and with a strong focus on finding solutions
• To fulfil this position of responsibility, in addition to your technical expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and be a permanent resident in Germany
