• You will be responsible for the independent design and precise engineering of sophisticated specialised machinery and bespoke fixtures in accordance with specific requirements
• You will also be responsible for comprehensive engineering project management right through to successful delivery, including direct customer support
• You will also oversee the ongoing analysis and continuous improvement of all existing and new products, as well as internal manufacturing processes
• Consistently taking into account business, logistical and quality-related criteria is also part of your daily and responsible duties
• As part of your role, you will support solution-oriented and cross-functional collaboration with all relevant internal departments and interfaces
• Furthermore, you will draw up precise production drawings, comprehensive documentation and well-founded risk assessments for the manufactured systems
• Finally, you will be responsible for the technical coordination of bespoke solutions and will oversee their practical implementation right through to final acceptance

• You have successfully completed a technical degree in mechanical engineering or undertaken further training as a technician (m/f/d) specialising in mechanical engineering, or hold a comparable qualification
• You also have several years’ relevant professional experience in design within the special-purpose machinery sector or in a comparable technical environment
• Your confident proficiency in using modern CAD systems such as SolidWorks, as well as standard Office software, sets you apart in your day-to-day work
• You have native-level proficiency in spoken and written German, as well as a good command of English for communication in an international environment
• Furthermore, you possess a high level of technical understanding, strong analytical skills and a structured, solution-oriented approach to your work
• To fulfil this role of responsibility, in addition to your technical expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and be permanently resident in Germany
