• You will be responsible for determining suitable shipping methods, packaging and shipment volumes in accordance with internal and statutory requirements
• You will be responsible for organising and coordinating the transport of heavy and dangerous goods at both national and international levels
• You will be responsible for notifying freight forwarders of shipments and arranging freight space
• You will be responsible for obtaining, evaluating and awarding transport quotations
• Planning, managing and monitoring external warehousing will also form part of your remit
• You will ensure that orders are processed on time
• In addition, you will prepare shipping-related documents and handle customs formalities
• You will monitor the receipt of air and sea freight documents
• Processing and distributing internal and external documents, as well as handling customer correspondence, round off your role

• You have completed a commercial apprenticeship, e.g. as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk (m/f/d), or hold a comparable qualification
• You have already gained several years’ professional experience in export, dispatch and logistics
• A good knowledge of customs and foreign trade law is an advantage
• You are fully proficient in MS Office and SAP R3
• Your profile includes a very good command of German and a good command of English
• You have a strong service and customer focus, as well as a sense of responsibility
• You are characterised by your ability to work in a team, your initiative, organisational skills and an independent and structured approach to work
