• You will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical advice to customers, both on-site and virtually via MS Teams, on all application-related queries
• In addition, you will be responsible for developing bespoke application-specific solutions in close consultation with customers, sales and production sites
• Furthermore, you will oversee the technical and quality-related implementation of the developed joining solutions, whilst ensuring compliance with all relevant quality and testing standards
• Your responsibilities will also include acting as the central point of contact between customers, our own sales department, production sites and internal development
• As part of your role, you will support the analysis and evaluation of manufacturing processes such as forming, machining, electroplating and various welding processes
• Furthermore, you will support customer projects from the initial technical concept right through to successful series production in the automotive sector
• Finally, you will be responsible for providing technical support during technical training courses and for the continuous optimisation of existing products and manufacturing processes on behalf of customers

• You have a degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering or industrial engineering, or have completed further training as a mechanical engineering technician (m/f/d)
• You also have several years’ professional experience in the design and development of electrical contact elements within the automotive or supplier industry
• Your sound knowledge of relevant manufacturing processes such as metal forming, machining, electroplating or welding, as well as in project management
• You have C2-level proficiency in German and business-fluent English to ensure smooth communication with international clients and internal stakeholders
• Furthermore, you possess excellent communication skills, a passion for direct contact with clients and a strong ability to assert yourself
• Finally, you are solution-oriented and enjoy working independently as a liaison within a dynamic, interdisciplinary team environment
• To fulfil this role of responsibility, in addition to your specialist expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and be a permanent resident in Germany
