You will design and develop innovative electronic devices and EMC filters; you will also familiarise yourself with new technical development areas outside the current product range and assess their commercial viability; you will draw up design plans, technical drawings and specifications; you will also be responsible for the simulation, sampling and optimisation of power electronic devices and EMC filters. You will independently carry out customer visits as part of technical sales. You will draw up bespoke quotations in line with customer requirements. Furthermore, you will independently manage development projects, including budget and resource planning. You will liaise with customers and internal departments to develop bespoke solutions. You analyse market trends and introduce new materials and technologies. You also implement standardised testing methods and document these. You develop sustainable and energy-efficient products in line with current standards. Across all sites, you provide technical leadership and guidance for developers; you ensure the transfer of knowledge within development and the documentation of best practices; you also design and deliver training courses on fundamental theory, standards, development practice and measurement technology for internal and external purposes

• You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable discipline
• Professional experience in the development of power electronics, particularly in the high-voltage sector, is an advantage
• You have in-depth knowledge of the fundamentals of electromagnetism and power electronics topologies
• You have sound knowledge of power electronics as well as associated EMC filters and winding materials
• You have experience in using simulation software (e.g. LTSPICE) and CAD programmes
• You also have experience in delivering technical training courses
• You are confident in dealing with electrical engineering norms and standards
• You are characterised by analytical thinking and a structured approach to work
• You possess excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
• The ability to work as part of a team and a willingness to take on responsibility round off your profile
• You have a very good command of written and spoken German and English
