• You will operate and monitor the digital printing presses (HP Indigo and Canon varioPRINT iX) during ongoing production
• Before printing, you check print data and job tickets and prepare the jobs in the workflow, for example using imposition, pre-flight and RIP
• You will supply paper, ink, toner or ElectroInk and accessories, and set up the machines in accordance with the job requirements
• You check colour, registration, trim and print image using measuring instruments, colour profiles and standards such as ISO 12647 or Fogra
• You calibrate the machines, maintain colour profiles and thus ensure reproducible print results
• You carry out daily and regular maintenance and cleaning tasks independently, replace wear parts and resolve simple faults
• If problems arise, you analyse the cause and, where necessary, liaise with the manufacturer’s service department
• You will coordinate the interface with post-press processes (cutting, folding, laminating, binding) or carry out parts of these tasks yourself
• You will monitor stocks of consumables and reorder as required
• You maintain production data, maintenance logs and meter readings, for example in MIS or ERP systems
• In doing so, you comply with the guidelines on health and safety, environmental protection and quality

• You have successfully completed a vocational qualification as a Print Media Technologist (m/f/d), Packaging Technologist (m/f/d) or Screen Printing Media Technologist (m/f/d)
• You have already gained experience working with HP Indigo and/or Canon varioPRINT iX
• You also have knowledge of colour management and print data preparation (PDF, Adobe Acrobat, workflow systems such as Prinect, Fiery or PRISMAsync)
• Your profile includes a good command of spoken German and a valid work permit
• You are willing to work shifts
• You work meticulously, with a focus on quality and independently
• You have a good understanding of technical matters and a solution-oriented mindset
