• You will plan, manage and monitor national and international transport orders
• You will also manage our own fleet and plan the deployment of drivers and subcontractors
• You will ensure optimal route and capacity planning
• You will also act as the point of contact for customers, drivers, carriers and internal specialist departments
• You monitor delivery dates and respond proactively to any deviations
• In addition, you procure freight space, award transport orders and prepare and check transport-related documents
• You monitor freight rates, costs and profitability, and handle complaints
• Maintaining master data and documentation within the relevant IT systems also forms part of your remit

• You have completed a commercial apprenticeship, ideally as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk (m/f/d), or hold a comparable qualification
• You have already gained professional experience in transport planning, ideally within the freight forwarding or logistics sector
• Good geographical knowledge and a strong understanding of transport processes are part of your profile
• You are confident using MS Office as well as dispatching and transport management systems
• You also hold a valid work permit for Germany
• You have a good command of written and spoken German, and knowledge of other foreign languages would be an advantage
• You work in a customer-focused, independent and structured manner
• Organisational skills, the ability to make quick decisions, strong communication skills, assertiveness and the ability to work well in a team round off your profile
