• You will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring RheinCargo's Germany-wide long-distance freight traffic and cross-border goods trains during ongoing operations
• You will also be the central interface in the operational process, liaising closely with train drivers, service providers, transport planning, DB InfraGO and other infrastructure operators:
• you will be responsible for analysing disruptions, irregularities and delays in train movements and jointly developing solutions as part of a team
• you will be responsible for ensuring the flow of information
• you will take care of short-term train path orders, commissioning service providers:
• You are responsible for making decisions to ensure stable and safe train operations
• Documenting and tracking incidents and operational peculiarities as well as irregularities are part of your tasks

• You have completed training as a train driver (f/m/d), dispatcher (f/m/d) or a comparable qualification in the railway or transport sector, including relevant professional experience
• You have initial experience in dispatching, control centre or traffic planning, preferably in rail freight transport or in the logistics sector
• good knowledge of transport geography in national and international rail freight transport, especially in Germany and ideally in Switzerland, Austria and the Netherlands, is part of your portfolio
• you are confident in using common IT systems such as MS Office and have experience with digital dispatching and planning tools
