• You will be responsible for independently drawing up and managing the daily loading lists, as well as route planning for regional local transport to ensure optimal capacity utilisation
• You will also be responsible for the cost-effective nationwide scheduling of around 120 lorryand the nightly allocation of all routes
• Furthermore, you will oversee the daily procurement of additional cargo space and the negotiation of market-based transport rates with external logistics partners and service providers
• Active coordination and communication with the warehouse, drivers and the interfaces at the loading yard are also part of your responsibilities
• As part of your role, you will support the prompt handling of complaints, the accurate recording of shipments and the operational service for all business partners
• Finally, you will help ensure consistent compliance with legal requirements, relevant quality standards and internally agreed service level agreements to ensure smooth operations

• You have completed a vocational qualification as a Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Clerk (m/f/d), Industrial Business Administrator (m/f/d) or Wholesale and Foreign Trade Management Specialist (m/f/d)
• you have also gained demonstrable professional experience in the operational scheduling of vehicles or lorry transport within the freight forwarding sector
• Your confident use of standard MS Office applications and modern transport management systems sets you apart in your day-to-day work
• Your profile includes business-level proficiency in spoken and written German, as well as a good command of English
• Furthermore, you possess excellent organisational skills, the flexibility to work exclusively night shifts, and a strong ability to cope under pressure
• To fulfil this responsible role, in addition to your professional expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and have a permanent residence in Germany
