• You will be responsible for the independent planning and efficient scheduling of the contracted lorry fleet to ensure the on-time fulfilment of our commercial freight orders
• You will also be responsible for the precise calculation of load metres for all vehicles deployed, whilst making optimum use of available load capacities
• Furthermore, you will oversee time-critical transport processes as part of modern just-in-time concepts to ensure a seamless and smooth supply chain
• Independently negotiating freight-related prices and terms with external transport service providers is also part of your daily duties
• As part of your role, you will support the continuous monitoring of all agreed delivery dates and take proactive action in the event of any freight discrepancies
• Furthermore, you will facilitate close coordination with internal specialist departments and drivers to ensure high quality standards
• Finally, you will be responsible for providing customer-focused support to freight clients and will always address operational enquiries in a courteous and solution-oriented manner

• You have completed vocational training as a Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Clerk (m/f/d), Office Management Specialist (m/f/d) or Industrial Business Administrator (m/f/d)
• you also have sound practical professional experience in operational lorry dispatching and transport logistics management
• Your confident use of standard MS Office applications and industry-specific dispatching software sets you apart in your day-to-day work environment
• Your business-fluent written and spoken German, combined with strong numeracy skills, enables you to communicate effectively
• Furthermore, you bring a high degree of assertiveness and negotiating skills to all operational discussions
• In addition, you are exceptionally resilient under pressure and always work in a structured and fully goal-oriented manner, even in time-critical situations
• To fulfil this position of responsibility, in addition to your professional expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and be a permanent resident in Germany
