• You will be responsible for independently managing the entire transport process and ensuring the smooth handling of all pending freight orders, both local and long-distance
• you will also be responsible for forward-planning and the ongoing monitoring of all routes, and will allocate incoming transport orders to the appropriate vehicles in a targeted manner
• Furthermore, you will oversee the correct completion of completed routes and conscientiously process all relevant transport data in the system in accordance with internal guidelines
• The reliable and structured handover of current consignment information to the downstream delivery coordinators is also part of your daily tasks
• As part of your role, you will assist with the professional archiving and verification of all collection route cards, consignment notes and verified delivery receipts
• Furthermore, you will support close coordination with drivers and partners and help to resolve any short-term deviations in performance or timetables
• Finally, you will be responsible for monitoring all delivery deadlines to ensure that the customers you look after always receive a high standard of service and are fully satisfied

• You have completed a vocational qualification as a Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Clerk (m/f/d), Office Management Assistant (m/f/d) or Industrial Business Administrator (m/f/d)
• you also have relevant professional experience in operational planning, freight forwarding or transport logistics, as well as in-depth knowledge of modern processes
• Your confident use of standard MS Office applications, as well as initial practical experience with modern transport management systems, are key strengths in your day-to-day work
• You have excellent written and spoken German, as well as, ideally, a good command of English to ensure smooth communication in day-to-day practice
• Furthermore, you possess a high level of organisational skill, strong communication skills and a keen sense of assertiveness when dealing with various partners
• You are also exceptionally resilient, solution-oriented and always work independently, in a structured manner and with complete reliability within the dynamic freight forwarding environment
• To fulfil this position of responsibility, in addition to your professional expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and be a permanent resident in Germany
