• In your role, you will look after, educate and nurture the children in your group in accordance with the Lower Saxony Orientation Plan and the centre’s educational philosophy
• You will plan, implement and reflect on educational activities and projects
• You are responsible for organising the rooms and the daily routine, as well as ensuring that care and support tasks are carried out
• You observe and document developmental and educational processes
• You will be responsible for language development and support, as well as for inclusion and participation
• You will manage transitions, such as settling-in, moves to other groups and the transition to school
• You will conduct intake, development and parent meetings
• Parents’ evenings, providing information and advice are part of your duties, as is collaboration in the spirit of a partnership in upbringing and education

• You have experience in the care, education and upbringing of children in a childcare centre
• You are familiar with the Lower Saxony Orientation Plan for Education and Upbringing
• Knowledge of language development and language support, as well as an open-minded approach to inclusion and participation, are important to you
• Good written and spoken German, as well as a valid work permit, are part of your profile
• We expect you to be reliable, responsible and patient when working with children
• You are a strong communicator and conduct development and parent-teacher meetings with confidence and trust
• You handle children’s settling-in periods and transitions with empathy and respect
