• In your role, you will support and accompany children and young people in the residential group as part of the Educational Support (HzE) programme in their day-to-day lives
• As part of the emergency service for children and young people, you will take in children and young people in acute emergency situations and ensure their safety and care
• In crisis situations, you will carry out crisis intervention, de-escalate conflicts and provide young people with a sense of security and guidance
• You will organise the group’s daily routine in an educational manner, structure daily schedules and provide support with homework, school and training
• Through targeted educational activities, you will promote the independence, social skills and personal development of the children and young people
• You will conduct individual and group discussions and act as a reliable point of reference for the children and young people
• You will carefully document the children’s and young people’s development, write reports and hand over to colleagues
• You will also be responsible for the care and supervision of children and young people during 24-hour shifts, including night duty

• You have completed training as a childcare worker (m/f/d) or a therapeutic care worker (m/f/d)
• You have experience of working with children and young people, for example in a residential group or in educational support
• You have a good command of written and spoken German
• You are willing to work 24-hour shifts
• You are a team player and communicate clearly and respectfully
• A valid work permit for Germany completes your profile
