• You will design electrical hardware for complex control systems in mechanical and plant engineering, particularly in control cabinet construction, in compliance with all relevant standards, guidelines and customer requirements
• You will develop detailed design solutions within the framework of specified tasks or existing solution concepts
• You will verify the conformity of the designed products and document this comprehensively
• You will carefully prepare risk assessments
• You will create manufacturing and customer documentation using ePLAN tools, including 3D modelling of control cabinets
• You will play an active role in transferring the designed products to production and optimising them to ensure they are ready for manufacture
• You will be involved in the technical clarification of customer enquiries and the preparation of technical quotations
• You provide technical advice to customers and identify the most cost-effective solutions

• You have completed at least four years of higher education (e.g. a Master’s degree) with several years’ professional experience, or alternatively, you have completed at least three years of higher education (e.g. a Bachelor’s degree) with many years’ professional experience in electrical design, e.g. as an electrical engineer (m/f/d) or electrical designer (m/f/d)
• You possess extensive specialist knowledge in the preparation of circuit diagrams and control cabinet design
• Your knowledge of electrical design and control cabinet construction is well-founded
• When working with CAD-supported documentation, you are confident in using ePLAN P8 and ProPanel
• you have a very good command of North American standards such as UL508A and NFPA79
• you are proficient in both spoken and written German and English
• You approach your tasks independently and on your own initiative in a solution-oriented, reliable, precise and structured manner
• You are characterised by strong communication and teamwork skills, flexibility, a willingness to perform and commitment
