You will be responsible for the independent design, detailed specification and planning of sophisticated electrical engineering solutions for highly complex measurement systems in an industrial environment, whilst adhering to relevant quality standards

You will also be responsible for carrying out complex analyses, calculations and simulations to ensure the long-term functionality, safety and performance of individual modules and complete systems

Furthermore, you will oversee the comprehensive implementation of functional safety verification procedures in accordance with applicable standards and prepare well-founded risk assessments regarding electrical hazards for CE certification

Your wide-ranging responsibilities also include the independent preparation, review and ongoing maintenance of electrical and pneumatic circuit diagrams, as well as the associated technical documentation

As part of your role, you will support interdisciplinary cross-functional teams in the continuous optimisation of technical processes and in ensuring compliance with all specified deadlines and cost targets within the project

Furthermore, you will support the implementation of innovative methods to enhance system performance, whilst taking into account all national and international legal regulations and the company’s quality guidelines

Finally, you will be responsible for technical coordination with external partners and internal departments to ensure the smooth handover of the final design documentation to production

REQUIREMENTS

You have successfully completed a degree in electrical engineering, electronic engineering or a comparable technical discipline

You also have three to five years’ relevant professional experience in electrical design, ideally in the field of modern measurement technology or complex industrial plant

Your solid knowledge of the standard software applications EPLAN P8, V-Modell, SISTEMA and Safexpert, as well as modern PDM and ERP systems, sets you apart in your day-to-day work environment

Your native-level command of written and spoken German, as well as a good command of English, enable you to communicate seamlessly in a highly professional technical environment

Furthermore, you possess excellent communication skills and a strong team spirit, enabling you to collaborate successfully within interdisciplinary project teams

Finally, you are highly organised and always work independently, in a goal-oriented manner and with strong problem-solving skills on all assigned tasks

To fulfil this position of responsibility, in addition to your technical expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and be permanently resident in Germany
