• You will create and maintain material bills of materials and transfer the relevant data into the ERP system
• You will plan, schedule and procure electrical materials as required for ongoing production and project-related orders
• You will ensure material availability, taking into account stock levels, lead times and production requirements
• You will coordinate operationally with Purchasing, Warehouse, Production and project managers to ensure smooth processes
• You monitor delivery dates, backlogs and outstanding orders, and take appropriate action in the event of any discrepancies
• You select suitable products and materials based on specifications, technical requirements and cost-effectiveness considerations
• Receiving goods, carrying out incoming goods checks and ensuring materials are stored correctly are also part of your responsibilities
• You assist with stock-takes, inventory checks and interim counts
• You will compile and prepare materials for production as well as for site and project deliveries
• As the technical point of contact, you will be available to answer queries regarding materials from production and project management
  You will work closely with the accounts payable team
• You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of processes in the areas of materials management, warehousing and work planning

• You have completed a technical apprenticeship, ideally in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics or a comparable field, preferably with further training as a technician (m/f/d), Master Craftsman (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
• You have professional experience in work preparation, production planning, production control or materials planning
• You have a good understanding of how to read and interpret technical drawings and production documents
• You are skilled in using ERP systems and standard MS Office applications
• You have a good understanding of materials management, warehouse processes and ensuring a demand-driven supply of materials
• Your structured, analytical and independent approach to your work
• Strong communication skills and a passion for cross-functional collaboration are key strengths
