• Prepare your measuring instrument (multimeter/voltage tester) and check that it is working correctly using a known voltage source
• Record the measured value and compare it with the specified value from the circuit diagram
• In addition, you check the component in question by measuring its resistance (ensure it is de-energised!) or a continuity test to confirm your suspicion
• Carrying out a further functional test of the entire system after replacing or repairing the component rounds off your role

• You have completed a vocational qualification, e.g. as an electronics technician (m/f/d), electrician (m/f/d), electrical fitter (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
• reading, understanding and working to electrical diagrams is no problem for you
• your strong analytical thinking, enabling you to logically narrow down the causes of faults, is one of your strengths
• Basic written and spoken German, as well as a valid work permit, are part of your profile
• You are characterised by your reliability, ability to work in a team, and a precise and proactive approach to your work
