• You will assemble and label complex sub-assemblies and switchgear with devices, busbar systems, terminals, etc., in accordance with parts lists and assembly diagrams
• You will carry out various wiring tasks independently in accordance with wiring diagrams (rarely in accordance with circuit diagrams); wire sets up to 6 mm² are usually pre-assembled
• You prepare cables larger than 6 mm² by hand using special pliers, cable lug crimping tools, etc., and install them in the switchgear in accordance with the wiring list; you also prepare multi-core, partly shielded cables
• You review documents (parts lists, drawings, wiring lists, etc.) on your own responsibility; Once assembly and wiring are complete, you carry out visual inspections and ensure that the back of your hand and fingers are protected

• You have completed an apprenticeship as an energy electronics technician (m/f/d), Electronics Technician (m/f/d), Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
• provided you can demonstrate 5 years’ professional experience in the field of switch cabinet manufacture and/or testing, a skilled trades qualification is not required
• You can read and work from electrical diagrams
• You have a good command of written and spoken German
• You are willing to work shifts
• Reliability, the ability to work as part of a team, and a precise and proactive approach to your work are your strengths
• A valid work permit for Germany rounds off your profile
