Electronics Technician Automation Technology (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• You will assemble, install and repair electrical systems
• You will carry out service, maintenance and repair work on electrical systems independently
• Using S7/TIA Portal, you will carry out troubleshooting, diagnostics and fault rectification on the systems
• You will carry out stock-takes of electrical components and systems
• You will amend and maintain circuit diagrams using EPlan P8
• You will document electrical systems carefully and in a traceable manner
• In the field of switchgear construction, you will modernise electrical systems
• You will be responsible for the commissioning of modernised and new system components
• You will inspect and professionally install cabling and electrical connections
• In the event of faults, you analyse the causes and rectify faults in control and automation components

What we’re looking for

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as an electronics technician (m/f/d) or an electrician (m/f/d) specialising in industrial engineering, or hold a comparable qualification, e.g. further training as an electrical engineering technician
• Ideally, you will have some initial professional experience in automation technology or industrial engineering
• You have knowledge of S7, TIA Portal and E-Plan P8, or are willing to familiarise yourself with these systems
• You are characterised by a practical and independent approach to working on electrical systems
• We require a willingness to work shifts for occasional assignments
• You have a fluent command of written and spoken German, as well as a valid work permit
• You work meticulously, responsibly and reliably
• Technical understanding and manual dexterity round off your profile
