• In this role, you will be responsible for the construction, integration and optimisation of electromechanical prototypes
• Your duties will include the assembly of sub-assemblies, sensors and electronic components
• You will assist with commissioning, testing and troubleshooting
• You will be responsible for the development, assembly and adaptation of cable harnesses for prototypes and pre-production runs
• You will select suitable cables and connectors
• You will be responsible for planning cable routing, shielding and strain relief
• You will be responsible for the production of cable assemblies
• You will also carry out the mechanical machining of parts

• You have completed a course of study in electrical engineering, mechatronics or hold a comparable qualification
• You have already gained experience with connector systems, shielded cables and cable routing
• You have experience in prototype construction, cable harness production or system integration
• You have a good knowledge of crimping, soldering and cable assembly are second nature to you
• You are confident in working with circuit diagrams, technical drawings and measuring equipment
• Basic knowledge of C/C++ is an advantage and will help you when collaborating with the development and software teams
• Good written and spoken English, as well as a valid work permit, are part of your profile; knowledge of German would be an advantage
