• You will monitor, clean and maintain all plant components at the two sewage treatment works and the external stations, including motors, pumps, shafts, pipework, valves, switchgear, tanks and control systems
• You will monitor and control all wastewater treatment processes at the Lampertheim and Hofheim treatment works, as well as at the external stations and the sewer network
• You will design, maintain and configure switchgear and plant components using medium-voltage, low-voltage, PLC and frequency converter technology – both older and latest-generation – at the treatment works and pumping stations
• You will resolve faults independently or arrange for them to be rectified
• You will read, draw up and amend circuit diagrams for the systems in use
• You carry out maintenance, upkeep and repair work on mechanical equipment

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as an electronics technician (m/f/d), mechatronics technician (m/f/d) or energy systems electronics technician (m/f/d)

or a comparable qualification

• you can demonstrate several years’ experience in the field of control cabinet wiring, commissioning and fault analysis
• a forklift licence would be an advantage
• you understand electrical diagrams and can work to them
• you have a good command of written and spoken German
• you are willing to work shifts and be on call at weekends and on public holidays
• You also hold a car driving licence
• You are medically fit to work in sewers and manholes
• Reliability, the ability to work as part of a team and a meticulous and proactive approach to your work are your strengths
• A valid work permit for Germany rounds off your profile
