Job description

  • Check and book ongoing business transactions carefully, so that the accounting remains correct and up-to-date at all times
  • You provide active support in accounts receivable and accounts payable and ensure smooth processing
  • Payment transactions as well as bank and cash accounting and cash accounting reliably and maintain an overview of all transactions
  • Process open items independently and actively participate in the dunning process
  • Clear payment discrepancies thoroughly and ensure transparent processes
  • Maintain accounts and master data conscientiously
  • Take on other support activities in accounting flexibly and as required

Requirements

  • Commercial or comparable training, e.g. as an industrial clerk (m/f/d), bank clerk (m/f/d) with additional accounting, financial accountant (m/f/d), business studies, tax clerk (m/f/d) or balance sheet accountant (m/f/d)
  • You have already gained experience in accounting and apply your knowledge in a targeted manner
  • Knowledge of external accounting, controlling and reporting for this position
  • You are confident in using Excel and use the programme as a daily tool
  • Knowledge of merchandise management systems such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is an advantage
  • Very good written and spoken German skills enable you to communicate confidently and provide precise documentation
  • A valid work permit and your residence in Germany enable you to carry out all tasks without restriction
