• You will operate mobile and crawler excavators (handling excavators) safely and efficiently on the company premises
• Using the multi-gripper, you sort scrap and metal fractions and feed them into recycling plants such as shears or presses
• You load containers, semi-trailers and railway wagons professionally and efficiently
• You ensure order and safety in your own work area in accordance with company regulations
• You carry out minor maintenance and cleaning tasks on the excavator, such as lubricating or checking fluid levels, independently

• You have several years’ relevant professional experience as an excavator operator, ideally in the recycling, scrap or waste management sector
• You must hold a valid earth-moving machinery licence (excavator licence)
• You operate a material-handling excavator with various attachments, in particular the multi-bucket grab, with confidence and expertise
• Good industry knowledge and an eye for material quality help you to avoid mis-sorting
• A basic knowledge of German and a valid work permit are an advantage
• You are a team player and flexible in your daily tasks, and you work independently and proactively
