• You will be responsible for independently handling all customs and export-related processes in day-to-day operations, whilst complying with current legal requirements
• In addition, you will be responsible for the accurate preparation of all necessary freight, customs and accompanying documents to ensure the smooth clearance of international goods consignments
• Furthermore, you will oversee the correct entry and follow-up of global export orders in the system to ensure on-time delivery processes
• Your duties will also include the meticulous classification of goods under the customs tariff, as well as checking preferences and proofs of origin
• As part of your role, you will facilitate close coordination with customs authorities, freight forwarders and logistics service providers to ensure the smooth commercial processing of orders
• Furthermore, you will support the provision of expert advice to internal departments on all matters relating to customs and foreign trade law in day-to-day business operations
• Finally, you will be responsible for the systematic checking of all incoming tax documents and export certificates to ensure complete documentation across the entire company

• You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk (m/f/d), Industrial Business Administrator (m/f/d) or Wholesale and Foreign Trade Management Specialist (m/f/d)
• you also have several years’ solid professional experience in operational export processing as well as comprehensive practical knowledge of customs law and foreign trade
• Your solid knowledge of standard customs and ERP systems, such as SAP SD/MM and the ATLAS software, sets you apart in your day-to-day work
• You have a very good command of written and spoken German, as well as a good command of English to ensure confident communication with international partners
• Furthermore, you bring a high degree of initiative, a strong sense of responsibility and a very precise and structured approach to your work within the team
• You are also an excellent team player, strong communication skills and always work conscientiously and in a solution-oriented manner, even in time-sensitive situations
• To fulfil this position of responsibility, in addition to your technical expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and have a permanent residence in Germany
