• You will be responsible for the legally compliant classification of dual-use goods and opto-electronic components in accordance with the current EU regulation and standard ECCN guidelines
• You will also be responsible for applying for and managing all BAFA licences and carrying out precise checks on the end-use of the products
• Furthermore, you will oversee the reliable preparation of all export documents, such as export accompanying documents, certificates of origin and preferential certificates, in accordance with applicable customs regulations
• the ongoing review of all export transactions for compliance with authorisation requirements under EU, BAFA and US re-export law is also part of your daily duties
• As part of your role, you will act as a competent point of contact, assisting the relevant authorities with enquiries and the preparation for external foreign trade audits
• Furthermore, you will support internal specialist departments such as Sales and Development through practical training and targeted awareness-raising on all relevant topics
• Finally, you will be responsible for maintaining master data in the ERP system and will contribute to the ongoing optimisation of existing compliance processes within the company

• You have completed a vocational qualification as a Wholesale and Foreign Trade Management Assistant (m/f/d), Industrial Business Assistant (m/f/d) or Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Assistant (m/f/d)
• You also have several years’ solid professional experience in global export control and legally compliant customs clearance, ideally in a high-tech environment
• You are distinguished by your confident use of modern ERP systems and are fully proficient in standard MS Office applications
• You have business-level proficiency in spoken and written German, as well as very good English skills for day-to-day international communication
• Furthermore, you bring a high level of compliance awareness, the ability to work independently and a very high degree of accuracy
• Finally, you are an excellent communicator, demonstrate a willingness to learn and always work in a structured manner, even in dynamic situations
• To fulfil this position of responsibility, in addition to your specialist expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and be a permanent resident in Germany
