You will handle documentary transactions such as letters of credit received and issued, including the associated correspondence, and monitor national and international shipments and transport by road, sea and air freight, which you organise and coordinate independently. You also plan and coordinate heavy-goods transport requiring authorisation as part of the loading processes. Furthermore, you liaise directly with customs authorities and process customs clearances. Internal and external contacts:internally, you provide specialist advice on export, customs and preferential trade regulations; you handle transport damage and clarify the relevant claims with the parties involved; you carry outand preferential checks and verify the accuracy of the results. Furthermore, you prepare and review export-related documents and ensure compliance with applicable customs regulations. You meticulously maintain relevant processes and communications in SAP and keep the documentation up to date at all times. Last but not least,closely with freight forwarders, carriers and internal specialist departments to ensure smooth operations

• You have completed a commercial apprenticeship as a Wholesale and Foreign Trade Management Clerk (m/f/d), Freight Forwarding Clerk (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification, e.g. as a Business Administration Specialist (m/f/d)
• You have a very good command of German and a good command of written and spoken English
• You have experience working with SAP
• You are characterised by a structured, meticulous and independent approach to your work
• You have strong communication skills and are a team player
• Sound knowledge of customs, export and preferential trade law rounds off your profile
