• You will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of the finance department
• You will be responsible for budget planning, forecasting and cost control
• You will be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• You will analyse production costs, trends in material prices and their impact on pricing
• You will also be responsible for optimising liquidity planning, working capital and cash flow
• You will be involved in the introduction and further development of controlling tools for production, stock levels and the supply chain
• You will be responsible for ensuring compliance, internal controls and risk management
• You will also work closely with auditors, banks, suppliers and strategic partners
• You will be responsible for the financial evaluation of investments in machinery, plant, automation and new technologies
• Supporting M&A projects, site expansions and international growth initiatives rounds off your remit

• You hold a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management Accounting or a comparable qualification
• Ideally, you have several years’ professional experience within the manufacturing industry, preferably in the cable, electrical or metalworking sectors,
• knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) would be an advantage
• you are confident in using ERP systems, such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or Infor
• You are naturally fluent in both German and English
