Finance Officer (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

You will prepare the consolidated financial statements in accordance with commercial law and international standards and ensure their quality; you will carry out the consolidation of domestic and foreign subsidiaries independently; you will play an active role in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, and ensure results are delivered on time. You will review and validate the financial data supplied by the subsidiaries. As the point of contact for auditors:and tax advisers in the context of audits and year-end closing procedures. You will clarify issues relating to income tax law within the Group context in consultation with specialist departments and external advisers. You will contribute to the continuous development and optimisation of consolidation processes and systems. You will prepare analyses and reports for senior management and international stakeholders using SAP-FI and MS Office. You will communicate regularly with overseas subsidiaries, including in English and, in some cases, French, to coordinate financial statement matters. As part of occasional business trips, you will support international sites and assist with consolidation issues there.

What we’re looking for

• Ideally, you will have a degree in business administration with a specialisation in accounting/finance; alternatively, you will have completed a commercial apprenticeship and further training as a certified accountant (m/f/d) or international certified accountant (m/f/d)
• You have several years’ experience in the field of consolidation and group financial statements
• You have a basic understanding of income tax law
• Good user knowledge of SAP FI, as well as proficiency in the MS Office suite, round off your profile
• You have a good command of English; knowledge of French is an advantage
• You possess a strong aptitude for numbers and an analytical, structured, solution-oriented and team-oriented approach to work
• You are willing to undertake occasional business trips worldwide
