• You will be responsible for preparing the local monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, as well as ensuring they are properly reconciled with the requirements of the global group standards
• You will also be responsible for all matters relating to local accounting and will always be available to the line departments as a competent point of contact
• Furthermore, you will manage the interfaces with the parent company in Austria as well as the financial reporting for the French subsidiaries in the SAP FI module/CO module
• Full responsibility for all processes relating to budgeting, financial planning and short-term forecasting is also part of your day-to-day duties
• As part of your role, you will support the local finance team as their line manager and promote their ongoing professional development
• Furthermore, you will actively support the local management as a strategic sparring partner in business decisions and finance-related matters
• Finally, you will be responsible for ensuring professional collaboration with external auditors, tax advisers and regulatory authorities during ongoing audits

• You have successfully completed a degree in Business Administration with a specialisation in Finance, or have completed an apprenticeship as a Financial Accountant (m/f/d) or Industrial Clerk (m/f/d)
• You also have several years’ relevant professional experience in finance and accounting within an internationally operating industrial company
• You stand out thanks to your solid knowledge of the HGB and IFRS accounting standards, as well as your proficiency in MS Office
• You have native-level written and spoken German, as well as very good English skills for international communication
• Furthermore, you bring a high degree of personal motivation, strong assertiveness and a clear focus on shared success
• You are also able to cope well under pressure and always work with a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach, combined with a reliable and structured methodology
• To fulfil this role of responsibility, in addition to your specialist expertise, you must hold a valid work permit and be permanently resident in Germany
