• The independent recording, account assignment and system-side posting of all incoming invoices in compliance with internal guidelines form an essential core element of your daily work
• In addition, you are responsible for the proper posting of all incoming and outgoing payments to ensure an up-to-date and correct financial overview
• Furthermore, you will be responsible for the complete processing of travel expenses, credit card and cash accounts, credit card and cash register statements and act as a competent contact person for all internal departments
• The implementation of active receivables management and the continuous monitoring of open item lists to ensure liquidity are also part of your regular tasks
• As part of your job, you will actively support experienced colleagues in the preparation of the financial statements:
• you will actively support the experienced colleagues in the preparation of the monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the applicable HGB and IFRS standards
• you will also support intercompanycoordination within the group of companies and take over the careful maintenance and updating of all relevant accounting master data in the system

• Finally, you will be responsible for the entire processing of national and international payment transactions and carry out regular account clarification to avoid differences

• Successfully completed further training as a certified financial accountant (m/f/d), business administrator (m/f/d) or accountant (m/f/d) with a corresponding specialist focus is your qualification
• In addition, sound commercial training as a tax clerk (m/f/d), industrial clerk (m/f/d) or office management clerk (m/f/d) forms the solid foundation of your career
• You have several years of practical professional experience in accounting, to reliably grasp complex issues and routinely map them in the various financial systems
• your sound knowledge of the common MS Office applications as well as adept handling of the SAP ERP system will particularly characterise you in your daily work environment
• you will be able to confidently use your German language skills at native speaker level, both written and spoken, as well as a good command of English for communication in the international maritime environment
• you will also have a high level of numerical skills and a structured way of working, in order to always maintain an overview even with a high workload
• Finally, you are a team-oriented personality and work very conscientiously and absolutely reliably in the processing of all sensitive financial data and internal processes
